Guard the Church

I will petition Jesus to have the body of Christ to pray for me during an onslaught, I will ask Him to join us in prayer in the unity of the Holy Spirit to aid me in overcoming this assault sooner.

I will pray without ceasing as I lay on my bed in the travails of some illness that was spiritually targeted at me and pray without ceasing until I am delivered from the affliction. I will do this with the spoken word, in song, in repetition of the Lord’s prayer and simply in petitioning the Heavenly Father and Jesus for deliverance, healing, strengthening and disciplining of that which is coming at me. If I don’t target my prayers and pray without ceasing my suffering endures and you never know I just may find death before my time because I sat and waited on the Lord instead of petitioning for a quicker wellbeing of my unwell body. #AskSeekFind Pray yourself through the affliction instead of relying wholly on the prayer chain, it may be two in the morning whilst you are suffering the most discomfort and the other’s prayer time may not be till 9 in the morning. That’s a long wait for relief and deliverance. Speak “rebuke this situation in Jesus name. amen”

Pray without ceasing. - 1 Thessalonians 5:17

I find when praying for others it is better to uplift those you love on your heart whenever they come to mind for then you are praying with the love you have for them as you petition the Heavenly Father for the person’s need. Again, yes place your loved one on the prayer chain, yet again their name may only come up once on someone’s prayer list whereas you can be taking your loved one to the throne of the Lord all day for His hand in their situation. The more that pray at every moment of the day the better it is for those in need and those we love. Simply speaking too ‘Praise Be to Jesus Christ’ is a command and can bring one relief in some circumstances. I have recovered within half day when I silently or quietly pray on my bed in song and in petitioning the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Equipped with the Holy Spirit

Jesus gifted us the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth. The Holy Spirit equips us to overcome and to lead us in the progression to Sanctification. The Holy Spirit helps us to remember. I will and do ask the Holy Spirit for words to pray in situations. I have asked the Holy Spirit for boldness in some situations. I will ask the Holy spirit to keep me in song all day. I love it when I wake in the morning with a song singing in my head. It tells me the Lord had me singing whilst I lay on my bed sleeping There is much one can ask the Holy Spirit as He is our helper in all times.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name. He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
John 14:26
New King James Version

Do not quench the spirit - 1 Thessalonians 5:19

Give thanks always to the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Claim Jesus authority over your life.

For you are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. For you are all sons of the light and sons of the day, we do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then let us not sleep as the others do but let us remain awake and sober. For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we may live together with Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-9
New King James Version

Rejoice at all times, pray without ceasing, give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not extinguish the spirit do not treat prophecies with contempt but test all things, hold fast to what is good, abstain from every form of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-22
