How often has one heard this?

Be ready to share the good news of the Gospel that Jesus loves us so much that He provided salvation, the forgiveness of our sins and gifted the Holy Spirit to lead us to all truth and whom helps us to overcome. Jesus provided the way back to our true home, God the Father’s mansion in the sky.
Jesus warned us and shared:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness. - John 10:10

Yet, this is not enough for some who reject God, many Christians forever cop remarks like:
“If God loves us then why are there pandemics, floods, death and suffering”; and the list goes on.
I too in the past have come up short with answers when confronted with the same questions. I have realised that as Christians our answers are based on our life experiences and our understanding of all the truths God the Father has been attempting to share with us on the journey, either as babes on milk or as we have grown to greater maturity on the walk and in His word.

It takes us a long time to awaken to the full truths of our own actions and the actions of others.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defence to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear… - 1Peter 3:15

We forget to warn of the dangers of spiritual practices that God warned us to stay away from and the implications and harm that comes into one’s life and family from such ways if we go seeking and let these harmful ways into our lives and homes.

About a decade or two ago, I was present when a young primary school child got their finger stuck in the car door. Small talk passed between Mother, Daughter and Aunty on the accidental incident including as to why the child was slow to make mention of her alarming situation. Directed by the moments in the conversation of the painful jam resulted in one, either Mother or Daughter directly posing the question, “Why didn’t God stop the finger from being jammed in the door?”; the little one looks at me (the Jesus freak) for an answer to the question and the other unspoken question, “Why would God hurt me?”

I didn’t have the words to share, yet I knew God did not harm this little one and I stated so; and many reasons and suggestions ran through my mind, yet this lack of selecting the right words to answer a small child wasn’t the only issue blocking me from providing one.
Therefore, I too believe that not only should we be equipped to share of our hope in Jesus Christ, that too we should be able to share some understanding of the harm and damage Satan’s kingdom in the spiritual realms affects us in the physical.

The majority of Christians have not studied or understood God’s Holy Breathed Inspired word or the truths and warnings He has imparted to us and the implications of that which God the Father has advised us to stay away from, including the many ways of divination involving the supernatural.
After starting to read my bible in my thirties at God the Father’s request I now can see the answer I should have presented to this young one, along with my knowledge and first-hand experience of the unseen kingdoms that move amongst us, without scaring the child. The unseen realms I was already aware of, yet had never factored in how much danger we are threatened with by the workers in Satan’s kingdom causing strife and disruption, and what we do and where we are can result in whether we receive no injury, a scratch or something more serious and debilitating.

God has protected me more times than I can count. So, I can only imagine the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about. Thank you God for always being there even when I didn’t know it. amen

It is the environment one is in and what is loosed that will affect the outcome, our freedoms and the fullness of our safety and the peace within community. Though God always delivers and restores us in so many different ways.

Mike Wittmer shares in his writings on ‘Little Foxes’ : Small details can wreck the grandest plans, so the man in ‘Song of Songs’ urges his lover  to catch “the little foxes that ruin the vineyards” of their love. (2:15) He’d seen foxes climb over walls and dig out vines in search of grapes. They were hard to catch as they darted into the vineyard then melted back into the night. But they must not be ignored.

Therefore, make an effort to keep out and remove anything of the wicked spiritual ways of this world that come to rob one of their peace and blessings and harmonious relationships.

Therefore, ask oneself:

Is there a greater presence and invitation of Jesus and His ways and the Holy Spirit or has a parent been dabbling in Satan’s craft in the many forms of the occult presented?
(Opening doorways that their children may fall into the same trappings?)

On this particular day I suspect the parent’s lifestyle over the decades has presented imps and mischievous spirits as these unseen supernatural beings follow the family around attempting to implicate a situation of trouble or harm and even disharmony, hence the accident and injury and the battle to block the good angels providing the full protection that is necessary to avoid harm.

Perhaps with a name like Crowley, there may be ancestral familiar spirits hanging around for generations that need to be removed and sent back to the place God the Father has prepared for them, renouncing all ties and bondages. I am unsure whether my family line and blood is related to Aleister Crowley or that we both just happen to have the same surname. You know oddly, this one’s Mum also had her finger jammed in a car door and did not mention it until the driver asked after driving the length of a long street, “why are you crying and upset?”. Then she pipes, “my finger is stuck in the door.” I guess the rush to get in the car and get going does cause distractions.

In other words, perhaps there was an imbalance of good verses wicked angels presence on the scene, and that difference was enough to block the one shutting the car door to not be as careful and alert as they should have been, and a delay in pulling one from danger. For I too believe the angels sent to guard us do block so many incidences of harm targeted at us or one’s carelessness. Another consideration is that the same one had spiritual filth upon them, again this too blocks one’s thinking and clarity of tackling the care and nurture that is normally necessary when attending to young children and closing doors.

Be careful what one looses and invites into their homes from past lifestyles or present times. One must renounce all practices of divination and involvement in magic, Ouija boards, secret society’s and more, and ask Jesus into their lives and clean out that which does not belong, to aid in everything running more smoothly without mishap and gentle for outcomes.

For here in these biblical verses, we are reminded that through such divination practices the children can be harmed as shared in the ‘ Woes of Nineveh’ and In the Psalm that the daughter of Babylon who harmed children will suffer the same fate for her children. Be careful of what one has loosed, the release into one’s surrounds can be detrimental.

The woe of Nineveh, woe to the bloody city, its full of lies and robbery…because of the multitude of harlotries of the seductive harlot, the mistress of sorceries who sells nations through her harlotries and families through her sorceries…her young children were dashed to pieces… - Nahum chapter 3


O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed, Happy the one who reaps you as you have served us! Happy the one who takes and dashes your little ones against the rock! - Psalm 137:8-9

It is not hard to picture a battle between the angels in the protection of God’s children. I know the Father has stepped up my angel protector over the decades, sometimes I think I have Jesus angel guarding me, the same one He had when He walked as a child on this earth. Though I do not ignore that Jesus is delivering me time and time again. There are times I feel my Lord passes through my room to check on me as the battles have become greater than what they used to be.

One can read in the Book of Daniel chapter ten, verses 10-13 (Daniel 10:10-13) that the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia prolonged a battle with an angel who was attempting to deliver a message to Daniel. The message was delayed for twenty-one days, more angels were sent to aid this messenger angel to succeed in the task of ensuring Daniel received the words.

Dependant on what one has let into one’s life and how dark and deep these practices one has delved into will affect others, just as those who walk in the Holy Spirit can bring relief to dark states.

Without checking the history and religions of the Kingdom of Persia, I gather by the statement ‘Prince of the Kingdom of Persia’ there was a demonic stronghold over the land that affected anyone who passed through, including God the Father’s messenger angel.

Therefore, know that when the Holy Bible speaks of ‘children being dashed against stone’ know that this is not God acting out this violence, this is from the demonic strongholds let into the communities from spiritual unfaithfulness to the one true God and the abhorrent ways God the Father warned to stay away from; don’t let it loose into one’s life. A reminder that by inviting the dark world of fallen angels and Satan’s ‘spirit of this world’ into one’s surrounds and not the presence of Jesus Christ, one is inviting harm instead of the safety and wellbeing presence of God the Father’s Holy Spirit.

I’m fully aware I can be affected by the oppressive spirit in others homes, including my workplace; I find I am unable to speak freely on that which should be said and often restrained in my actions in situations and ways I normally would for betterment of outcomes and needs.

If such an oppressive spirit is blocking my words, as it hangs heavy in an environment, how much more are others thoughts restrained and is confusion brought in resulting in incidents that lead to injury. Perhaps more clumsiness in movement from being shoved around by unseen beings, headaches from prodding and other phantom pains from the devilish presences in the room.

C S Lewis ‘Screwtape Letters’ shares many moments of how the spiritual darkness entities are sent on missions to spy upon us, to harm and antagonise and to thwart our blessings in Jesus Christ. I can confirm from my own experiences that C.S.Lewis was writing from his knowledge and witnessing of the unseen realms that move around us and the game play Satan’s workers use to come at us.

When we start saying no to Jesus and have spiritual unfaithfulness , then Satan’s kingdom will take opportunity and increase his presence in one’s home and life; this includes when we sin too, it becomes an invitation for Satan’s workers to encourage us further off the path and into greater oppression. One must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and some words of ‘Praise Be to Jesus Christ’ to state to this dark world you Belong to our Lord & Saviour Jesus to keep other residences at bay.

Invite Jesus into one’s home and His peace to ensure there is no room for devil spirits in the home. Invite Jesus in for a sound mind and freedom in all things; spoken words of “Praise be to Jesus Christ’ will aid in clearing a room. (Thank you Billy Ocean for showing me this. Be ready to share in the world today that denies God, the safety of Jesus Christ and His promises and to warn to be wary of what one lets into one’s life thinking it is safe, for the consequences can be quite harmful and destructive in more ways than one could ever image.
