It appears you have ‘spiritual discernment’ and perhaps is the reason you feel that people are laughing at you.

With this gift you are able to detect an entity other than the soul of the human body talking to you. This could be a familiar spirit, straight out demon entity or Satan’s spirit the spirit of this world, either way or three like to antagonise those who belong to God if not all humanity.  

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good….to another distinguishing between spirits… (1Corinthians 12:7-11) (Spiritual Gifts)

Don’t take it personally, acknowledge what you see and either ignore it and let the annoyance wash of you like water of a duck’s back or use the Lord’s authority and speak either “The Lord rebuke you” or “this situation be rebuked in Jesus name.” and let the Lord discipline the unseen realm members antagonising you. Discipline yourself to not react to the antagonism so that you are not lead into trouble through their triggering ways.

Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, “He saved others, Himself He cannot save.”  (Mark 15:31)

But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his and there was no remedy. (2 Chronicles 36:16)

Remember the world hated Jesus and we are reminded we are in the world but not of the world.

Jesus says, “If the world hates you, understand that it hated me first. If you were of the world, it would love you as its own….” (John15:18-19)

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out int the world. (1John:4:1)

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. (1Corinthian2:12)

Focus on Jesus not the storm. Stay topped up on God’s word by reading it and you will get understanding like this so that you learn to not react but perhaps act when you acknowledge the unseen realm antagonising you. For even the demons recognised Jesus when he was out walking.

Suddenly a man with an unclean spirit cried out in the synagogue. “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you  come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God.”  (Mark1:23-24) (or see Matthew8:29)

…we were met by a slave girl with a spirit of divination, who earned a large income for her masters by fortune telling. This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation…. Paul said, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her.” And the spirit  left her at that very moment. (Acts16:16-18)

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him  shall not perish but have eternal life. (John3:16)

For our struggles is not against flesh and blood , but against the rulers  and authorities of the unseen world… (Ephesians 6:12)
